We procure our raw materials from responsibly cultivated sources and work together with carefully selected, long-standing partners every step of the way. Our pretzel products and BakeOff pizzas are closely inspected during the entire production process and adhere to all the usual food production standards. This is further secured by regular audits.
Our exceptional quality is also confirmed by the IFS and BRCGS certifications for our production facilities in Mainz and Oranienbaum, where the highest quality and safety standards are met. We are also proud that our commitment to greater sustainability is underpinned by a growing number of products with organic certification. This is another sure sign of quality – the official organic logo can only be used by producers who adhere to strict conditions in manufacturing, processing, transport and storage.
As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we are also an active member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). We have already phased out the use of palm oil in most of our products and are involved in promoting the sustainable production of this raw material.

Environmental responsibility
One of the ways in which we protect natural resources is by designing our production locations to be as energy-efficient as possible. In concrete terms, this means recovering waste heat and using it to heat water and buildings.
Since February 2015, Ditsch has been a member of the “Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil” (RSPO),working to promote the sustainable production of palm oil. As well as this, our products only contain eggs from barn-kept hens: Ditsch complies with the goals of the German käfigfrei.de alliance and rejects the use of battery eggs completely.
